Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz - Innsbruck
47.26774, 11.39348The Altstadthotel Weißes Kreuz is a 4-star hotel in Innsbruck near the Golden Roof. The Altstadthotel Weißes Kreuz Innsbruck dates back to 1465 and is not far from the Hungerburgbahn station Congress.
The 48 new rooms in the Weisses Kreuz are spread over 5 floors. Colors dominate the bold interior design. No chamber is really like the other - that's what the venerable building fabric from 1465 tells us. The absolute highlights are the 3 super suites: the Mozart Suite (as a tribute to the child prodigy's visit), the Golden Roof (with a wonderful view of the Golden Roof) and the Super Patio (with a green oasis in the center). And then there is the broom closet, a fantastic little hole. But all other double and twin rooms are also impressive.
In the attic bar Blaue Brigitte on the 6th floor you can have a hearty breakfast if you order in advance. The concept is: only the best from the immediate vicinity is served (!). And after breakfast? From 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. there is sparkling white wine, a fine drop of red wine, gin & tonic from Tyrol and small and fine delicacies in the attic bar. Life is good in the "Blue Brigitte".
The hotel offers its guests lockers for their luggage and cooperates with the public parking garage “Alstadtgarage”, where guests can park at a reduced rate of € 15 per day.

The Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz offers a perfect location in the heart of Innsbruck's historical center, making it easy to explore local attractions. The staff are exceptionally helpful and promptly assisted me with my luggage upon arrival. The breakfast buffet was varied and of high quality, featuring freshly baked pastries and natural orange juice.
There was no table in the room, making it difficult to work comfortably.

I loved how the breakfast had fresh eggs and bacon cooked to order. The cozy bar on the top floor was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The hotel offered a great spa and an inviting lounge area to relax in style. The only downside was the Wi-Fi could be spotty in our room, but overall we had a fantastic stay! 😊

Had an awesome group trip with friends! We hit the slopes and took the cable car up to the Hafelekar. The location is super convenient and the staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast spread was top-notch and really gave us energy for our adventures. Highly recommend this place for its vibe and service!
One downside was the shower setup. it was a bit awkward because it was separated from the room with just opaque glass. It wasn't quite as private as we expected.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to all attractions. We loved taking the cable car up to Hafelekar. the views were breathtaking. The staff were incredibly accommodating, providing us with a baby crib and even offering a welcome drink, which was a lovely touch.
In my wife’s opinion, a play area for kids would have been great.

I recently stayed in a lovely double room with a balcony for 3 nights, and I absolutely loved the unique decor and stunning views from the rooftop bar. The hotel offers fantastic relaxation spots like a cozy lounge and a stylish bar to unwind at. The only thing I noticed was that my room lacked a window, which I think could have been a nice touch, but it didn't really affect my overall experience. 😊

The hotel's ambiance and friendly staff stood out, making it feel welcoming. However, sleepless nights due to street noise made it tough to enjoy fully. While overall a good experience, improved soundproofing would elevate the stay even more.
